Ryanair hits the all time low with this. The plonkers are seriously considering charging 1£ to use the toilet while in flight! Seriously, this must be the single most ridiculous thing since Bush.
Even more hillarious are the reactions. People have apparently been looking into the juridical aspects of it,and reached the conclusion that it’s not illegal to charge someone for using the toilet. As a matter of fact, there is no law that actually requires a passenger jet to have toilets at all, so we should be happy! — OF COURSE THERE IS NO LAW! Who could possibly foresee the situation of someone charging you money for a mile high poop!
So don’t forget to bring a roll of quarters the next time you fly with Ryanair. You never know when you have to go.

Wrestled around a bit with the linux system again. Got a nice little patch cable, with one end going into the speaker output of the linux system, and the other end going into the line input of my windows system. So far so good.
Fired up the MP3 player (Audacious, tastes just like WinAmp), hit the play button, and was bombarded with lovely error messages about how my sound card was unavailable since it already was in use. Scratched my head, tried again. Same error. Tried another driver, same error.
Apparently PulseAudio didn’t work out of the box. Or at all. But after removing it, everything is working fine. I now have sound again :) Woot!
And the added benefit is that now I have the sound from both the computers on the same amp input, so I don’t have to drag my ass over to the amplifier and switch the source, giving me more time to slack.

Erik wrote about the cold in his blog. And I can’t miss out on this excellent opportunity to whine about it. this god damn annoying cold. I mean, what have we got so far? First a shitload of cold, very nice. No snow but a shitload of cold. Then the snow starts falling, and it keeps on falling. When we’re finally drowned in snow it melts, but only slightly to make sure eveyrthing is covered by ice. Then it starts snowing again.
Death traps. Give me summer — NOW! I want to be able to be outdoors, wearing nothing but shorts. Hell yeah!
