Jesus christ. MSN has gone nuts these last few days. Got bombarded with spam about random crap, and actually about 50 messages in a row telling me to go to a page to view pictures. Got curious, and used wget (it’s like a web browser, without the browsing part. you just download stuff) and apparently that page did nothing but send the user a program file.
So apparently people click a page for pictures, instead of getting a page they get a program, so they go ahead and download and run it. Amazing.
Don’t know what’s worse. People actually clicking (and running) that stuff, or MSN being so easily exploited. Thank god for jabber :p

The fifth season of Boston Legal was apparently the last. You bastards! I’ve always enjoyed watching that show. Alan Shore was just magnificent in it, always bashing away in a classic David vs. Goliath fashin — the little man against the big mofos. And seriously, Denny Crane… Denny Crane… Denny Crane… the name doesn’t grow old. Gun crazed and suffering from mad cow he never ceased to amaze.
In all, Boston Legal has just been an awesome journey, and it just sucks that it’s over. Bastards!

The statement “you men can’t multitask” is getting quite old. It’s a well known fact that men excel at multitasking! Or well, I guess i should say most men. It’s another well known fact that quite a few men don’t have a big enough brain to fit anything but beer, peanuts, and football. But that’s a completely different topic :p
Of course it depends on what you are doing at the moment, but that’s somewhat obvious. If you are carrying a sofa, it’s a bit hard to stop to pick up your cellphone and make a call. On the other hand — in a possibly very geeky fashion — I always use two computers at home; my Windows box (still running XP SP1) and my Linux box (running Ubuntu 8.10). And it’s quite rare to see me with just one window open.
Men can multitask. Women, on the other hand… Well, when was the last time you heard “Not now, I’m cooking”? :p

Tired. Headache. And nothing good to watch :p
Watched Far Cry a few days ago, yet another one of Uwe Boll’s masterpieces. Although I would never ever pay to watch it, it still wasn’t as horrible as expected. Sure, it was mostly a catastrophy, but as with all Uwe’s works there was something slightly amusing about it. On the topic of brainless zombies, Resident Evil: Degeneration was well produced, but slightly boring. Hm.
I want more classic zombie action. Oh, and while I’m at it, more classic zombie humor! Like Shaun Of The Dead – that movie is a pleasure to watch in every way.

Ryanair hits the all time low with this. The plonkers are seriously considering charging 1£ to use the toilet while in flight! Seriously, this must be the single most ridiculous thing since Bush.
Even more hillarious are the reactions. People have apparently been looking into the juridical aspects of it,and reached the conclusion that it’s not illegal to charge someone for using the toilet. As a matter of fact, there is no law that actually requires a passenger jet to have toilets at all, so we should be happy! — OF COURSE THERE IS NO LAW! Who could possibly foresee the situation of someone charging you money for a mile high poop!
So don’t forget to bring a roll of quarters the next time you fly with Ryanair. You never know when you have to go.

It’s soon about that time. MSN has more than served it’s purpose here, and the number of contacts that I have on MSN but not Jabber is minimal. So, it’s almost time to disable the MSN accounts in Pidgin and go all Jabber.
It’s going to be nice to get away from all that spam, all those annoying viruses, and all that extra crap you get with MSN (such as proxied super slow file transfers, random errors, message delivery failures, disconnects, etc). MSN is just way too primitive, and all the good features it has has been stolen from somewhere else and just been added to the mix without any thoughts being put into it. Kind of like you replacing the ingredients in your grandmothers cake recipe with stuff that looks similar.
So, for the few of you out there who still only has me on MSN, go ahead and get yourself a Jabber account. You can pick and chose freely between a large number of providers (such as jabber.org, jabber.se, neko.im, etc.) and a number of clients (such as Pidgin, Psi, Miranda, etc:). All the info is available at GoJabber.info.

For those of you who are interested, here comes the movie reviews for you.
First of all, stay away from Ghost Town. This movie was literally so boring that I was tempted to smother myself with a pillow just to get away from it. The horror. Boring and dull story that probably has a really nice and shiny message hidden somewhere in there. Unfortunately, it must have got lost somewhere between the 138 shades of gray that makes up this movie.
Role Models got a thumb up at least. The idea was good, but it didn’t quite go all the way. Two friends get sentenced to community service and get to be a “big” for a crazy black kid, and a roleplaying fanatic.
On a more positive note, Sex Drive was not too bad. I watched the unrated version (which apparently differs from the original version in more than the fact that there’s an excess of … well, pretty much everything), and this movie is what you get out of putting Road Trip in the blender together with American Pie. Worth watching.
Dead Like Me was quite the disappointment tho. Can’t really say anything much really happened in the movie. The series was great, but this movie had less spark than the series did.

Watched Stardust earlier. Pretty good movie, gotta give it both thumbs up. Right now I’m just waiting for the next episode of 24. The new season, although still not as good as the first few, is not all that bad. Plenty of awesomeness.
Right now I’m off to watch Role Models. Have no idea what the heck it is, but we will se. And no Ciara, it’s not porn. There’s too many movies on my to-watch list, as well as on my to-watch-again list. Gotta start picking them off soon :p
